I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated the care that you provided me. I am very thankful for all the time you spent with me, helping me to feel better and explaining things to me. I always felt welcomed and comfortable. I really fealt that you cared about me as an individual, rather than another person who just needed to be "fixed" and sent out the door... -Anna G., Huntersville NC
Ever since my daughter Ela was born and diagnosed with Erb's Palsy, my husband and I have done all we could to ensure her that her injured arm would be as close to 100% as possible. It has been a long 6 years going from total paralysis of her right arm to movement with great restriction. We have gone to physical therapists and had them come to our home. We have tried to strengthen her arm and stretch it as much as was comfortable. Even though we made a bit ovf progress, we always thought there was more that could be done for Ela. When I met you, I was amazed at how much you helped Ela with just 2 treatments. I was also quite impressed with how at ease you made Ela feel. Thank you again for your help and gentle treatment of Ela; she speaks of you often and tells me that she wishes she could visit you more often... -Marianne Downey Yirimibesoglu, Istanbul Turkey
Thirteen months ago (September 2006), I developed achilles tendonitis, due to inadequate triathlon training. The foot specialist I was seeing advised me to consider ending my running training, and, consequently, say no to my dream of competing in my first Masters Track and Field World Championships. Of course, saying no to my dreams was not an option. Luckily a fellow triathlete recommended Doctor John Cipriani, DC at Lake Norman Pain Relief & Wellness Center. Doctor Cipriani skills in assessing my injury and treating me with Active Release Techniques helped resolve and heal both Achilles tendons in a relatively short period of time.
I was able to compete in the National Championships and was able to win 2 Bronze medals in the 200m and 400m sprint. Later in the season, I competed and fininshed 10th at the world championships in Italy.
I have since competed in the World championships in Oskosh, Wisconsin and was a team member of the gold medal and world record setting 4X400m relay in the 40-49 year age group. I could not have done it without doctor Cipriani's precious help. I beilieved in my dreams, you believed in me,..... and we made a great team. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. -Maryline Roux, Davidson NC
I can't thank you enough for the treatment you provided me. I had been training for Coeur d' Alene Ironman Triathlon and a Marathon in February. I could not run more than 15 miles without sharp pains in my knees. I was recommended to you by several triathlete friends who had experienced tremendous results with you. I had always been a little skepitical about going to a Chiropractor. At this point I was in so much pain, I was willing to try anything. After meeting you, I was truely impressed. Within 5 minutes you recognized my issues and the information you gave me was fabulous. After only the second visit, I went for my long 18 mile run and could not believe I felt GREAT. I had no pain in my knee and my pace improved. You worked on my 2 days before the marathon and I had my best run ever... I will be seeing you again while I train for my Ironman and will be telling others of the great work you do. Thank you for everything!!! -April Halasz, Charlotte NC
